Chief Investigator's Meeting | The Chief Investigator's Meeting will be held from 10:00am to 11:30am before the conference begins on Wednesday, October 2nd.


POST Mandatory Classes | We're excited to announce that this year we will be offering POST Mandatory classes as part of our conference program. Please note that attendance at these sessions is not mandatory if you are already receiving this training elsewhere. Additionally, these sessions will be scheduled in a way that does not conflict with other conference sessions.


The POST Mandatory sessions will begin on October 1st, one day prior to the main conference, with the final session being conducted the morning of October 2nd before the start of the conference. Attendees who are not planning to attend these sessions do not need to arrive until October 2nd. The schedule for these sessions is as follows:


Tuesday, October 1, 2024:

  • 12:00pm – 1:00pm | Gang Awareness
  • 1:00pm – 2:00pm | Human Trafficking
  • 2:15pm – 4:15pm | Use of Deadly Force & De-Escalation

Wednesday, October 2, 2024:

  • 8:00am - 10:00am | Community Policing


Registration Fee | The registration fee for this conference is $225. All registration fees must be paid in full by Friday, September 13, 2024, to hold your spot at the conference. If you paid for your registration and can no longer attend the conference, the refund cut-off date is Friday, September 13, 2024. Any refund requests after this date will have to be reviewed by the Director of Training, Kelli Baxter.

Credits | This conference will only provide POST hours for Law Enforcement Officers. There will be no other type of credit offered.


Attendance | This conference is open to all investigators, including police departments and sheriff's offices; however, the content will be geared towards investigators within the District Attorney's offices.


No On-site Registration | Please note that on-site registration will not be available for this conference. Please ensure your registration is complete. You should receive a registration number and a confirmation email. Please check your spam/junk folder as the first few emails from Glue Up may go here.


Reimbursements | Reimbursement for attendees of this conference is based on the availability of state funds for that purpose. You can view the reimbursement guide and review the reimbursement policy here. More information about reimbursements can also be found under the 'Documents' tab. Employees of Solicitors-General offices are eligible for up to $750 reimbursement per fiscal year.


Lodging | When making your reservations, please inform the hotel that you are with the Prosecuting Attorneys' Council of Georgia group. Below is the negotiated rate for the two area hotels we contracted with.

Waiver Regarding COVID-19 | Any person entering the premises waives all civil liability against this premises owner and operator for any injuries caused by the inherent risk associated with contracting COVID-19 at public gatherings, except for gross negligence, willful and wanton misconduct, reckless infliction of harm, or intentional infliction of harm, by the individual or entity of the premises.


Children | No children, regardless of age, will be allowed in the lecture sessions.


Weather | This registration payment cannot be refunded and/or applied to a different conference due to inclement weather. Refunds for registration payments can only be made prior to the registration deadline. There will be no exceptions.
