The Prosecuting Attorneys' Council of Georgia along with the Governor's Office of Highway Safety is pleased to offer 2023 Prosecuting the Drugged Driver Course in Helen, Georgia! To apply for this course, click the registration link provided.
The training will take place on Wednesday, October 25 to Friday, October 27, 2023. The training will begin at 8:45 AM on Wednesday and conclude at 12:00 PM on Friday. 12 hours of CLE and/or P.O.S.T. credits will be offered for this course and it is open to Prosecutors, Investigators and Law Enforcement officers. There is no fee to attend and lodging costs are covered.
Individuals who are accepted into the course will be notified by email no later than August 21, 2023. If you are interested in attending, please apply soon (space is limited).
TRAINING SESSIONS INCLUDE:
Lodging
Lodging for this course is provided by PAC at the Holiday Inn Express to those accepted. Your basic room charges will be billed to the PAC master account. PAC will contact the hotel and set up all lodging arrangements for you based on the number of nights you selected on your registration. You do not need to contact the hotel to make your own reservation. If accepted, You will receive a lodging confirmation once we get closer to the course.
Please be advised that if you are accepted into the course and are unable to attend, we will need notification as soon as possible. If you do fail to notify us, you will be billed for your room charges. In addition, if you are a 'no show' for the course, you will not be eligible to attend future PAC grant funded trainings.
Reimbursement
The only travel reimbursements that will be offered are to the staff of the District Attorneys' Offices if approved by their elected and the funds are available.
