2025 CAST Basic Historical Cell Site Analysis Course
January 29-30, 2025, in Forsyth, Georgia at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center
16-hours of POST credit will be available for law enforcement. No CLE or Advocate credit is available for this course.
The Prosecuting Attorneys' Council of Georgia is pleased to partner with the FBI Cellular Analysis Survey Team (CAST) to provide the Basic Historical Cell Site Analysis Course. During this 16-hour course, you will be introduced to basic cellular analysis and geospatial mapping.
By the conclusion of this course, attendees should be able to:
Due to space restraints, we may only be able to accommodate one person per office. Also, this course is not open to the public. There will be another class offered April 29-30, 2025.
If you are accepted, you will be required to download software (CASTviz) onto your laptop that will be used during this course. Information about this will be sent after you are accepted. Also, attendees will need to have a basic understanding of Microsoft Excel functions such as Freeze, Sort, Find/Replace, Insert, Formulas, and Pivot Tables.
Reimbursement of attendees for the Basic Historical Cell Site Analysis course is based on availability of state funds for that purpose. For District Attorney personnel, reimbursements come out of the approved travel budget for the judicial circuit. For employees of Solicitor-General offices, reimbursements come out of the approved travel budget. Other agencies are not eligible for reimbursement by PAC for this event.
